The moment Derrick Rose realized he’s different from the others.

I got a message asking if as someone who lives in Boston I think the Celtics should blow it up and what could they do. So I came up with trades for all of the starting five. In reality if they blow it up, they’d want draft picks and young players. These trades are trades that they could do and…
I’m the same Perk you’re going to see. I’m still going to sign autographs the same way. I ain’t going to change. The people that move out the way and stuff are the people who have insecurity problems. That’s my job. How will my teammates look at me if next time I just back out the way and just let him dunk when I’m supposed to be defensive-minded, a shot-blocker? That would be a coward move on me. He’d just have to dunk on me again.”
Kendrick Perkins opens up a bit to Yahoo’s Marc J. Spears about life after the Blake Griffin dunk. Perks will continue to put his pants on one leg at a time and will continue to play hard for the Thunder.
Later on in the article, Perkins takes a shot about LeBron James’ nice guy attitude. It’s a great read.
Perk wants the dunk to go away. For that, I can’t blame it. He was posterized. It was a great play but it happens. However, every time anyone mentions the dunk on twitter Perk gets mad, so much so that he deleted his twitter account. If he wants it to get less attention, he needs to get over it and stop taking offense when people talk about it. I personally didn’t see anyone rip Perk, it was all about praising Blake.
HE’S BLAKE GRIFFININ’ LIKE NOBODY ELSE EVER.
I just want this to be on my blog… I want to remember this dunk.

Tyrone “Muggsy” Bogues is celebrating his 46th birthday today. The 5-foot-3 guard, who played for four teams during his 14-year career, is the shortest player in NBA history. In this 1985 photo, Bogues measures himself against his Wake Forest teammates. (Susan Weinik/SI)

After #15 Indiana’s 74-70 win over #2 Ohio State, this photo was snapped. I have no idea who either of these people, but I’m assuming it’s a father and son. The pure joy in this photo is unmatched by any photo I have seen in recent years.IU is back.
