Sports Page: More trades that we can talk about but won't happen!

sportspage:

I got a message asking if as someone who lives in Boston I think the Celtics should blow it up and what could they do. So I came up with trades for all of the starting five. In reality if they blow it up, they’d want draft picks and young players. These trades are trades that they could do and…

nbaoffseason:

I’m the same Perk you’re going to see. I’m still going to sign autographs the same way. I ain’t going to change. The people that move out the way and stuff are the people who have insecurity problems. That’s my job. How will my teammates look at me if next time I just back out the way and just let him dunk when I’m supposed to be defensive-minded, a shot-blocker? That would be a coward move on me. He’d just have to dunk on me again.”

Kendrick Perkins opens up a bit to Yahoo’s Marc J. Spears about life after the Blake Griffin dunk. Perks will continue to put his pants on one leg at a time and will continue to play hard for the Thunder.

Later on in the article, Perkins takes a shot about LeBron James’ nice guy attitude. It’s a great read.

Perk wants the dunk to go away. For that, I can’t blame it. He was posterized. It was a great play but it happens. However, every time anyone mentions the dunk on twitter Perk gets mad, so much so that he deleted his twitter account. If he wants it to get less attention, he needs to get over it and stop taking offense when people talk about it. I personally didn’t see anyone rip Perk, it was all about praising Blake.

Thoughts on this?

In case you’re keeping score at home.

Without Rondo and Allen on Monday, the Celtics beat the Magic 56-87.

Tonight the Magic were up by 27 points and the Celtics came back, without Rondo, Allen, and O’Neal, to win 91-83.

MUST WATCH:  Muhammad Ali saves man from suicide jump

Please watch this Terry Drinkwater report from Walter Cronkite’s CBS Evening News, 1981.

Muhammad Ali was far from perfect, but Muhammad Ali was a great man.  Athletes today spend their time tweeting and hoping you buy their sneakers.

“I’m your brother. I want to help you.” - Muhammad Ali

We’re all brothers.  We should all help each other.

The best picture.

After  #15 Indiana’s 74-70 win over #2 Ohio State, this photo was snapped. I have no idea who either of these people, but I’m assuming it’s a father and son. The pure joy in this photo is unmatched by any photo I have seen in recent years.

IU is back.
